Founding in Brooklyn

Since our founding in Brooklyn in the early 1930s, every Pioneer product is Made in the USA and backed by our personal service and a guarantee of quality.

Expansion

Through the 1930s, '40s and '50s, Pioneer managed to expand its manufacturing output and opened plants in the Bronx and Mount Vernon, New York. (Insert Bronx&Mt. Vernon pics).

Hackensack

Pioneer moved into its state-of-the-art facility in Hackensack, N.J.

New Era of Commitment&Leadership

In April 2005, Mitchell Dorf, Rob Haversat and Jeff Haversat - who grew up in the door and hardware manufacturing business, learning their trade from their fathers and grandfathers - took the helm of Pioneer and began a new era of commitment to quality product manufacturing, personal service, and responsiveness to distributor needs and the highest set of values and principles.
